2010 MSA CHAMPIONSHIP. THERMAL 5 − REGRESSIVE TIME

A light breeze and lots of cloud cover with lift present from the start, which is needed for regressive time.

A good result for Malcolm White, who in achieving his first win of the season, scored 1858 out of a maximum possible score of 1880.

The day was marred by an unexplained elevator failure at height for Nick Neve's Topas. The lunch hour was enlived by the parts being auctioned on the field with Geoff Carter the successful bidder for the repairable bits.

The results and championship points awarded were:

Position Name Points
1st Malcolm White 100
2nd Geoff Carter  90
3rd Mike Grantham  80
4th Steve Hannon  70
5th John Freeman  65
6th Ken Aslett  60
7th Nick Neve  55
