A low turnout due to illness, family commitments, holidays and cool weather saw only five compete.
Some discussion was had about whether to hold the event as the day started chilly and breezy but by 10 AM the wind had settled and the sun was shining so we pressed on. Long flights were not easy in the breezy conditions but Steve Hannon managed one 30 minutes max. Thermals were generally quite high, lift at low level was difficult to use, most pilots resorted to a bit of slope soaring off the trees on the far side of the river from time to time. The results and championship points awarded were: |
| Position | Name | Points |
| 1st | Steve Hannon | 100 |
| 2nd | Mike Grantham | 90 |
| 3rd | Geoff Carter | 80 |
| 4th | Malcolm White | 70 |
| 5th | Tony Wright | 65 |
