About the MSA: The MSA is a club for enthusiasts who fly remote controlled gliders in the Malvern Hills Area. We use two fantastic flying sites, one for slope and the other for thermal soaring.

Slope Soaring: We fly at the northern end of the Malvern Hills. The Hills rise 1200 feet above the Severn River Valley on the Worcestershire / Herefordshire borders and are regarded as one of the most outstanding soaring sites in England.

Thermal Soaring: We rent our own 75-acre flying field, known as ' Fish Meadow' at Upton-upon-Severn. This was the site used for the first World Championships for thermal soaring in 1998.

Other activities: We run a series of simple thermal, HLG and slope competitions throughout the year and in the winter we meet monthly in Colwall Village Hall for talks, videos, an AGM in December and an annual auction in March. Also in the winter we fly in an indoor sports centre in Colwall.

We communicate via a regular newsletter which is sent to all members four times a year.

We can also arrange for members to gain the BMFA 'A' and 'B' achievement certificates.
